And then she had two babes! Congratulations to you, Brooke and Nick. Baby Bowie is just too gorgeous!

As I got to their lovely home, I was met by Archer, whom I had the pleasure of photographing back when he was only a little baby! You can check out the blog post “Natural Light Family Photo Session in Footscray“.

Needless to say that I was rather excited to meet the newest addition to this family. Baby Bowie; a beautiful, big, healthy baby boy, a couple of weeks old = my pure happiness in a photoshoot.

After a few sneaky cuddles of this cuteness, I set up my equipment and away the session went.

Solo images of Bowie were the first to be done. He really is a cutie! Would you just look at him?

Archer was keen to get in, so we did exactly that. Holding his little brother’s hand or even with an arm around him (of course, we always need to be on standby as toddlers can change their minds very fast and decide they don’t want to be holding the baby anymore!).

We decided to get the parents in next. Just a few really natural images from the family couch—my all-time favourites!

My combination shots, of mother and bub, father and bub, and everyone together came out beautifully, and it’s so lovely to capture these special bonds/times between everyone.

Not to mention, we ended the newborn session with a few images of Brooke feeding Bowie… including a snack-fed toddler showing what a real photoshoot looks like with a toddler, hahaha…

Archer, look after that beautiful bother of yours! Teach him all your beautiful personality and the ways of the fun world you are from.
