Archer, you darling boy. You’re just too cute beyond words!

This natural light family session was taken a little while ago now. Amongst covid lockdowns and craziness we managed to have this gorgeous session at Brooke and Nick’s family home in Footscray.

Archer was only 4 months old in these photos – such a happy little guy! I couldn’t be happier to work with these three! Everyone was so nice and relaxed and not to mention all of us were excited to finally be having this family session!

We started with some solo shots of the main star – Archer, who made a lovely addition to this family. His gorgeous little face stared up at me as I clicked away with my camera. He laid patiently on a play mat in his gorgeous little overalls. Those big eyes just watching as I made my way through that part of the session. May I say, a rather serious start to the session as Archer took the role as model very seriously haha don’t you just love that!?

We were able to capture some great shots of the two of them together. Archer looked at me seriously at the beginning as I captured those moments but before long we had lots of smiles and giggles!

Next in was Archer’s dad Nick. My gosh, it was so cute watching the family each interacting with each other – honestly so much love in the room!

Keeping things nice and candid I just left them to do what they felt the most comfortable with which always makes the most natural and beautiful photographs.

This is something I love about these lifestyle family photo sessions. I love just letting the candid moments unfold by themselves!

Next off we moved from Archer’s bedroom to the master bedroom and got some images of the three together. We sat them closely on the bed and got some beautiful shots. Again nice and authentic and then having mum and dad smiled looking at Archer – just beautiful!

At the end of the session we wanted to get a few more smiles from Archer. He was feeling very happy so we felt we needed some more tickles and giggles in the mix. And he did not disappoint. Check them out, aren’t they the cutest?
