It would be an understatement to say that I am excited to share this lifestyle family photography session with you because this family has welcomed a new member (everyone say hi to Sylvie!) who’s just 8 weeks old and we had so much fun together shooting that day!

Along with parents Mia and Brent and big sister Adeline, this family was a dream to photograph, and my goodness did we get some of the most beautiful images. About 3 years ago I photographed Adeline when she was only a few weeks old so I seriously can’t believe she’s now a big sister!

Keeping things nice and casual, and in true ‘Madeleine’ style, I arrived at the beautiful family home in Seymour and I was so excited to be photographing this family.

I decided that I would take Sylvie to the main bedroom for some solo shots first. Here Sylvie just looked up at me wondering what on earth I was doing!

I was enjoying my time with her so much and before long I added her very loving big sister Adeline. And I mean VERY loving big sister… She’s the cutest big sister honestly!

SO many cuddles and kisses and gorgeous stories were shared as Addie joined in the session. Oh, they are just beautiful together! SO much love in the air…

We did have some cries at the end… Gotta love the uncertainty in Sylvie’s face haha ;)

From here we had Mia and Brent joining us and and I was able to get some lovely images of the full family in the bedroom before moving to the lounge area.

“Open your eyes, Sylvie! We are taking a photo!”

Newborn babies’ cries are inevitable but they are so worth capturing!

Since we also had such beautiful weather that day, we got some gorgeous images outdoors that are for the books! I do love it when I can get both indoor and outdoor shots in a family photography session.
