How long do the family sessions go for?
Approximately 1 hour. The goal of the session is to get a variety of portraits of your family; as a unit, between siblings, and with parents only.
When can I get the photos after my session?
Your online gallery will be ready to view within 1-2 weeks after your photography session.
Turnaround time may vary during public holidays.
What if my child melts down, runs off, or doesn’t cooperate?
That’s completely normal, and honestly, we expect it!
We work with their energy, whether it’s running, hugging a favourite toy, or needing a break. These are often the authentic “you had to be there” moments that make for the best photos!
Where do the family sessions take place?
This is completely up to you! You may choose to have this at your lovely home, your local beach, a nearby leaf-filled park or your favourite family hangout.
We primarily use natural light and carefully selected outdoor locations in Melbourne and the Macedon Ranges that are quieter and less busy to maintain a low-stimulation environment.
What is an “inclusive” family photography session?
Inclusive family photography means we welcome and support all family structures and dynamics.
More specifically, it means our entire process, from booking to delivery, is intentionally designed to be accessible, flexible, and fully supportive of families with neurodiverse members or children with additional needs.
