Zoe, you are the cutest little thing!

O my goodness, I have to just put it out there… You made this in home family session so hard to cull with your cute little expressions, your gorgeous outfits and just absolute perfection with your parents!

Stephanie and Henry were wedding clients of mine, and I was thrilled to hear from them that they had a baby girl! We were going to do a newborn session for Zoe but a few months had come and gone where Melbourne was in some extreme lockdowns, so it was just not possible!

We decided to postpone it till beautiful Zoe was 6 months old for the session, and it was definitely worth the wait.

I arrived at Stephanie and Henry’s beautiful home and got started straight away taking some pictures of the stunning nursery they had set up for Zoe whilst they finished getting everyone ready.

The cutest details made this room a dream to photograph.

Before long, everyone was all set and we started the family session!

Baby girl Zoe was up first solo in a pretty white ruffled dress. Her beautiful little face just stared up at me as I clicked my shutter. As she lay there and sat in different positions, you could tell by her facial expressions that she was still trying to figure out what was going on here. Just wait for it…

The moment she smiled though, my heart just melted and I quickly got a few gorgeous shots of her!

And not to mention that beautiful hair! O goodness me!

Even though I was only able to see the photos on a tiny screen at the time, I just knew that we had captured the most amazing images!

After that, we had a few outfit changes and lots of pictures with mum and dad. And voila, we wrapped up this family session with some amazing portraits that will last a lifetime.

For some reason, little Zoe really loved this floral baby play mat. I loved how it brought out the cutest, playful smile from her!

Sometimes your baby may need a few minutes to warm up, and that’s completely ok. You will find that the session will remain a very relaxed experience with some chitchat along the way to make it as natural as possible.

Don’t worry if you struggle with posing, I will direct you and your family to ensure you have fun as well as capture the most natural moments of your family!
