Meet the Bradys! I had the pleasure of working with this gorgeous bunch for a lifestyle family photography session in Country Victoria. My goodness, this family session was just incredible! The cuteness, the giggles, and the amazing energy—I just had the best time photographing these guys!
Matt and Erin reached out for a family photoshoot roughly 10 months before it actually took place. At that time, they were about to have twins! And, you know, stupid COVID put us all in lockdown in Melbourne and postponed this session altogether.
By the time we finally did these family photos, the twins were just over 10 months old, and oh my, they are just so beautiful!
With so many kids in the room, you guess it, the session was full of giggles and cheeky sibling love…
The two older kids, Will and Ava, helped entertain the twins, Max and Zoe. They seriously had the older sibling role down to an art!
The beautiful family home, in Bylands, VIC, was filled with amazing light and décor, all of which just lent itself so well to the images. The large family home with so much space was a dream to photograph.
The master bedroom was the room of choice, with the best lighting and so much space for everyone.
Starting with the older two, I was able to get some gorgeous photos of them, and then we got the twins in the photos too. Ten months old is always a fun age to photograph! It’s when you start seeing their own personalities, and they just crave the interaction from all those around them. It’s honestly the best age!
Look at these cheeky monkeys! They are just adorable!
Between combinations of each of the kids, with their parents, Erin and Matt, and then individually with the children, I was entertained by these beautiful kiddos.
Stories by the plentiful, sharing things that had happened and keeping me up to date with the latest crazes in the age groups! I love this about my job.
Out came the toys, and they all played together to get some amazing shots. It was so cute seeing the older two show the twins what things did or how to use things.
I can’t wait for this with my kids! Right now, it’s just my older one, Max, pushing or snatching, and then Elle, my little one, just slapping Max to get it back! Hahaha, tears from both sides.
Family photoshoots are always so much fun! They can be as light and fluffy as possible.
You can just let the family do what they are doing most of the time with a slight bit of direction, not particularly posed.
The kids will feel more comfortable in their own homes, where they will be able to run and grab a toy or book, whatever it might be. That way, you will get the best natural shots of your family!
Thanks so much for having me, Matt and Erin! Your family is absolutely gorgeous…
I’m still pinching myself that I got to photograph this beautiful family session!
