I can’t believe how beautiful this wedding was.
Lovely bride Kate just exceeded my expectations in all that she did in preparation for this day!

Thank you so much Todd for recommending this lovely bride to me.
I was thrilled to receive Kate’s email and within the first conversation I knew working with her was going to be fabulous. Her plans for the wedding sounded incredible and being from the Grampians originally, I knew what was in store from the area!

MY GOODNESS it’s so gorgeous..

The day finally arrived and I headed down to the Grampians.
I was so excited to return to the area not having been able to get back all that often!

As I drove into Nareen I just had to stop and take in the beauty of what I once called home..

I popped into the Kate’s parents house to say a quick hello, then I headed to the property a few kms to where the marquee reception was to later be held.

Driving in I saw a huge marquee peached on the hill side of a valley overlooking the most incredible view.

Seriously, it was breathtaking!

Festoon lighting, barrels, a huge clear wall and part roof marquee (to later see the full moon of the night), three long guest tables, hanging arrangements, and fabulous décor..

My goodness Kate, I was honestly gasping at the beauty!

So many local vendors were involved and had done such a fabulous job of making every aspects of Kate’s vision a reality.

Once I had photographed all of the details I continued on to the house for Kate’s getting ready shots. Another gorgeous family home was used for this. On arrival I realized how calm everyone was and Kate was her relaxed self. It was so nice to see some friends and family just relaxing before the big day started.

Time to get into Kate’s dress. I love how this lovely bride altered her Nan’s dress for her special day.

After that, I headed to St Joseph’s Tarrayoukyan church for the ceremony..

May I say the cutest little church ever!? Set amongst the lush green bushlands stood a small white weatherboard church.

It was such a perfect setting!

Guests started arriving and it was lovely to see some familiar faces! As friends and family arrived, they hugged and kissed as the groom Andrew waited for his bride to arrive.

Once everyone was in the church, Kate and her father arrived in style in the most amazing car.
Time to get inside and marry her best friend!

The ceremony was so lovely- some music played by friends and funny stories told by the priest.

Soon enough the two lovers were married!

Drinks in the church gardens set the first relaxing moods for the guests. They all enjoyed these whilst the buses were being prompt for the short ride to the family property for the reception.
Kate, Andrew and I jumped in our cars and off to the location for the photos!

A small bluestone building – which was the perfect backdrop for some relaxed portraits of the two of them.

We took the photos nice and quickly so the two could rejoin with their friends and family at the reception for more celebration.

Canapés under the festoon lighting, outdoor dance floor and all the efforts made for the gorgeous set up!

The night was fabulous and speeches/games by friends and family created a great atmostphre as everyone enjoyed the night.

Wait for it, there is more!

Kate had arranged for a dress change half way through the reception and it was just the most GORGEOUS dress ever!
