Little Linc was so adorable on the day of his christening, I don’t even know where to begin.
This little man and his parents hold such a special place in my heart, as Mel and Brent are two of my dearest friends.
I also had the pleasure of shooting their destination lagoon wedding in Twin Waters, Queensland. They were blessed with little Linc just over a year ago now and he has been a superstar since the day he was born.
I was so excited when they told me about his upcoming christening and felt honoured when they asked me to help photographing their little one’s day. It was so great to be able to capture even more special moments in this family’s life.
Giving couples memories they can look back on for years to come is why I love my job so much.
As I arrived at Mel and Brent’s house, I was greeted by lots of family, many of whom I’d met before. It was lovely to see so many familiar faces again!
We got some photos of Linc getting ready for his big day. His adorable outfit was splayed out on the bed. He was putting on a little show by crawling around on the bed while his parents tried to dress him.
His cheeky smiles were melting my heart as I snapped away with my camera.
When this little man was finally ready, we joined family and friends in the courtyard. The family portraits of Mel, Brent and Linc turned out amazing; they make such a beautiful little family.
Everyone was smiling from ear to ear in anticipation of Linc’s big day!
After the photos were done, it was time to head to St Martin de Porres Church, where the service was to be held. There were three other children being christened that day and it was so cute to see them being blessed by the father.
Linc was so calm and collected throughout the ceremony, which just blew me away. I was able to capture so many special moments between him and the father, as he smiled up at the world.
He was truly a champ, looking so cute in his little bowtie.
Once the ceremony wrapped up, it was time to head to the reception at Palazzo, a fine Italian restaurant. The air was full of celebration and the guests were in awe by the lovely venue.
As always, the dessert table caught everyone’s eye, as it was topped with doughnuts and a fabulous cake by LaManna. Oh what a great way to end a wonderful day!
Before I go, I just want to wish little Linc all the joy in the world and congratulate his proud parents Mel and Brent! I’ve loved being a part of this special day with your family and I seriously can’t wait to see this little man grow.
He’s so lucky to have you both as parents and I know he’ll take on both of your amazing qualities!
Much love,
M xxx
