If you are after something that will make you smile, you will love this post on little Helena’s Baptism.

This precious darling was such a dream to photograph on her special day.

This gorgeous day of celebration started with a beautiful in-home session, which is a great opportunity to have portraits done of your little one. As the celebration progresses, it tends to get very busy as the day goes by. The extra time before the actual event also helps your little one warm up and get used to the camera.

We began the session with some portraits of little Helena before she was dressed in her special outfit.

Would you just look at those beautiful eyes!? This girl stole my heart from the second I met her!

After this, it was time for the little darling to be dressed. As the godparents proceeded, I photographed as many candid shots as possible capturing some gorgeous images. Helena really loved the camera, so it made her very easy to photograph because she was so comfortable in front of it :)

We did some of the family shots before the church, which was very nice.. and some traditional shots were taken at the house with the beautiful natural sunlight coming in.

Check out this sweet smile of hers! You would think she’s been doing it for years.

Before long it was time to head off to the church and where more loved ones were gathered. The service was held at Our Lady of Lebanon Church, Thornbury and Helena was so good at the ceremony. She smiled at the crowd a lot during the beautiful service and yes she definitely stole the show!
