First of all, I just want to give a shout out to this beautiful little family: the Curnows. They welcomed little Stella Raine into their fam bam a few weeks ago and I had the absolute pleasure of photographing her when she was only 9 days old.

I mean, would you just look at those tiny little fingers? After only 9 days in this world, she has already captured so many people’s hearts… including mine! She was the cutest little human being ever!

I’m extending a huge ‘congratulations’ and ‘thank you’ to both parents Sarah and Joel, as well as baby Stella (and of course their puppy dog)! They were all so so relaxed during this session and I’m honoured they allowed me to help capture their vision.

I hope it was everything they dreamed of for their first family photoshoot. These images are something to last for generations to come! I’m sure Stella will look back on them and know just how loved she was that afternoon (and beyond).

These kinds of  ‘at home’ sessions are such a lovely way to capture a family in a super relaxed and intimate setting. They are definitely a new found love of mine!

While I have enjoyed taking some adorable newborn photos lately, my real pleasure comes from capturing the connection between the family as well. And these are best done in the comfort of their own family home, surrounded by items and knick-knacks that represent their life.

Sessions with a newborn and their parents together are such such a beautiful thing. The awe in their faces and love in their eyes are a joy to witness. And this one in particular was oh so worthy of being captured.

Anyway, welcome to the world, you little cutie. Thank you for all the beautiful cuddles!
