I still remember the day when I took off to Fraser island for Phoebe and Sandy’s wedding! Yet another gorgeous place- and I must say an incredible perk of my job!

Although we had a few minor hiccups.. The airline changing our flight times the morning of the flight which meant the videographer and the wedding couple missed their flight! Fortunately the two still managed to keep it together!
I have to say hats off to you Phoebe and Sandy! That was so good of you..

Once we had arrived in Fraser Island, all of us relaxed and started preparing for the few days ahead.

Phoebe and Sandy’s guests had flown in from all over the place for this special one and what a celebration it was.

Oh what a wedding.. The Kingfisher Bay Resort catered to the guests’ needs with a holiday restful residence and not to mention a gorgeous setting for this lovely couple to say their I do’s.

The wedding day finally arrived and I first headed to the boys to get some preparation shots.
Sandy and his boys were all relaxed taking on the roles of Bridal party very well. Kudos to you boys! They all sat chatting and laughing before the big day begun.

Once I had all the shots I needed from here, I headed up to the top of the island for the girls. They had hired a large house for the wedding party to get ready and also stayed there for a few days for the celebration.

The house was lovely and the girls were in the middle of getting their hair and makeup done as I arrived. They looked beautiful and were all very excited for the day ahead.
Gorgeous flower girl also stole my heart early in the day.. She’s one of the bridesmaid’s daughter!

The ceremony took place on the beach on the sand. Oh what a stunning location looking out to the ocean.. I loved being able to just admire the Island’s beauty!

It was such a perfect day! The warm beach weather really created a tropical feel for the celebration.
Having all the friends and family flown in from so many places just made the day so much more special for Phoebe and Sandy!

When the ceremony came to an end, the guests were invited to the Sunset bar for drinks whilst the bridal party had their photos taken.

It was a hot day on the beach so we took advantage of the shaded area when we could! I must say that the photos turned out beautifully..

Soon it was time to head back to join the guests for the reception which was around the resort pool under the night sky! It was such a lovely spot and setting for dinner as the celebration continues. The soft lighting created an elegance to the evening and the night was enjoyed by all.

My favourite part of our photos would have to be the amazing sunset we got that evening. The gorgeous colours in the sky made the couple’s intimate photos a dream! The perfect setting on the pier and walking out to take a breath of the ocean sea was one of my highlights!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you Phoebe and Sandy for having me capture your special day. It was so lovely to travel to Fraser Island and be a part of your wedding. Destination weddings are a different kind of beautiful.. Thank you for all your trust and confidence in me to capture your special day!
