I first met beautiful little Isla-Rose and her mother Rosanna when I had the pleasure of photographing Benjamin’s christening earlier this year. When I received the booking enquiry for this special occasion, I was thrilled at the thought of working with her again. She is a natural planner and I was looking forward to seeing what she put together for Isla-Rose.

When the day arrived, my expectations were met. All of us met at the stunning Our Lady’s Help of Christian Catholic Church in Brunswick East. It was lovely to see the family again and it was clear everyone was very excited for the day ahead. Little Isla Rose wore an adorable dress by Princess Boutique Brunswick. Not long after our warm greetings and quick catch ups, the service began.

Isla-Rose did so well throughout the ceremony. Her big green eyes followed the pastor’s movements and she hung on every word. She looked as happy as could be as she played with her niece and nephew. Before we knew it, the beautiful tradition was done and everyone gathered around to wish them well. I got some lovely photos of the family before it was time for everyone to continue celebrating.

From here, everyone headed to the next venue, 400 Gradi; this is a personal favourite of mine! Rosanna did a fabulous job of organising the space and everyone gasped in delight upon entering the room. The fresh florals, festive balloons, strawberry towers and place cards all looked amazing. Bomboniere was carefully placed on the tables for guests to enjoy. The team at 400 Gradi all did a wonderful job at making everyone feel welcome.

Happy conversation and laughter filled the space as everyone enjoyed their lunch. Speeches and the cutting of the cake followed this; kind words filled everyone with joy. The guests were all so grateful to be part of the celebration, which was lovely to see. This family is lucky to have so many people who love them all in one room.
